Improving Our Children’s Education
As the father of 3 girls, Jeff Colyer wants to make
certain that every child in Johnson County has the best
education. Jeff Colyer believes that teachers and parents should
have the resources to give our kids a great education not just a basic
one.
The Legislature massively increased school aid, but they short changed
Johnson County. Jeff Colyer believes Johnson County tax dollars
should go to Johnson County schools. Jeff Colyer will help get
relief to our schools right away. He wants to place more
education decisions into the hands of parents, teachers and local
school boardds.

Keeping Your Hard Earned Money in Your Pocket
Jeff Colyer believes the key to fixing the problems facing Kansas and Johnson County is stronger economic growth. When there is more money in the pocketbooks of families and small businesses, problems get smaller and are easier to solve. Kansas grows best with low taxes, less regulation, a well educated workforce, and stable health care.
Encouraging economic growth is essential.

Protecting Your Health
As a physician, Jeff Colyer knows first hand the
problems patients face. There are no surgeons in the House even
though healthcare is the second largest item in the state budget.
Many politicians ignore the high cost of insurance, the shortages of
nurses and specialists, health care for seniors, and the
uninsured. As the only surgeon in the House, Jeff Colyer holds
the expertise necessary to address this growing concern that affects
each of us.
Standing Up for Kansas Values
A fifth generation Kansan, Jeff Colyer took our Kansas values to heart. His passion to help people is only exceeded by his passion for America. He will be a forceful advocate for our ideals.
Experience and Judgment
As a surgeon, father, policy maker for
President Reagan, teacher, businessman, and a medical volunteer in war
zones, Jeff Colyer has the experience and judgment to be a strong voice
of support for Johnson County. Like you, Jeff Colyer expects
results. Too often we have activists more interested in political
points, hidden agendas, or personal gain.
Jeff Colyer believes in Ronald Reagan’s vision. He was
there. Jeff Colyer believes the best days for Kansas are just
ahead of us.
